About Secondary Program

The Secondary Level (Class X) program at Punjab State Open School is designed for students who wish to complete their matriculation through Open & Distance Learning mode. This program is equivalent to Class 10th of any recognized state or national board under PSEB framework.

Examination Pattern

Examinations are conducted twice a year. Students can appear for exams on an On-Demand basis after completing the minimum study period. Each subject carries 100 marks with theory and practical components where applicable.

Passing Criteria: Minimum 33% marks required in each subject. Students who fail in one or two subjects can appear for improvement exams.
